Description

Enjoy hiking the five different trails around this 1092 acre preserve located on the Outer Banks. You'll see over 100 species of birds, plus deer, fox, rabbits, salamanders, frogs, and other wildlife while enjoying the preserve. The preserve represents one of North Carolina's most extensive ecosystems. Within North Carolina’s Outer Banks, it inhabits an incredible array of unique habitats, including forested dunes, interdune ponds, marshes, and wetlands. Preserve is open from dusk to dawn daily.
