Skyscrapers define the skyline of North Carolina city Charlote, the "Wall Street of the South", an urban center home also to an assortment of museums, a NASCAR speedway and an artificial whitewater river.
Interactive displays are the heart and soul of SciWorks, a "how-things-work" museum with a focus on furthering education in all things science, from ancient fossils and basics physics principles to modern technology. Younger children can enjoy simpler hands-on exhibits in the designated KidsWorks space and Tot Spot. Interact with live animals in the touch tank and BioWorks, where turtles, birds and a boa constrictor are the resident stars, and head on over to the planetarium for a glimpse of the night sky and far-away planets as seen on the big dome screen.
We offer a compact version of Go-North-Carolina for mobile users, allowing you to access just the information you need on the road. Of course, you can still use the full version of Go-North-Carolina on your mobile device just as you can on your desktop.
