Deleware's largest city, Wilmington, may be mostly about big business, but venture beyond the nine-to-five veneer and find an assortment of museums, a pleasant zoo, and a number of historic sights.
Surrounded by the majestic San Juan mountain range, Mancos State Park contains a small reservoir with excellent fishing and a developed campground. A pleasant climate year-round and the mountain and mature Ponderosa pine forest provide a pleasant background. Several Ancestral Puebo sites are nearby, including Mesa Verde and the Anasazi Heritage Center in Dolores.
