Description

Explore the history of Airborne and Special Operations forces from their inception in 1940 to the present at the Airborne and Special Operations Museum, located not far from Ft Bragg. Exhibits feature military equipment like the "Huey" helicopter, uniforms from campaigns conducted during World War II through the Cold War years, and recreate, with interactive displays, a glimpse of life in a French village during the Normandy Invasion. Watch a film showing on the motion simulator screen for a multi-sensory introduction to airborne and special ops activity.
